"It all started when my dad set up a tee time for me to golf with her; we were strangers then," Catherine recalled. Catherine and Chloe met at Brea Creek Golf Course, both passionate about golf and eager to improve their games. Gradually, they became best friends and wanted more. "Golfing was fun, but I wanted to do more. I thought, can I help anyone with golf? Golf helped me find the joy of life, and I want to give back. I want to share this pleasure with others," Chloe explained. Now, they aspire to start a program to help kids gain the knowledge and joy they experienced. "We don't want to keep this pleasure to ourselves; we want the younger generation to experience it too," Catherine added.

Initially, Catherine and Chloe set up summer and spring golf camps by teaming up with golf coaches and programs. However, after a while, their plans changed completely. "Yes, seeing kids grow through these golf camps was fun, and it was great to see them loving golf. But we wanted to try something else," stated Chloe. By adopting a completely different approach, Chloe and Catherine we were decided to get more involved with helping kids directly, rather than just relying on coaches. Catherine said, "Yeah, coaches can help you correct your movements and perfect your swing, but our goal isn't that. Our goal is to let others experience how fascinating golf is. We want them to love golf the way we do. Golf isn't just a sport anymore; I think it's a work of art." At the start of 2022, they began going to Brea Creek Golf Course with kids. Originally, it was just Catherine and Chloe, with one volunteer paired with one golfing buddy.
Eventually, Caherine and Chloe spread the word to their friends and families, deciding to make it big. They established the Teeing Up Scramble, held monthly, and the numbers kept increasing. The TUT Scramble involved volunteers being paired with one golfing buddy for a friendly competition, with each tee time consisting of two teams, culminating in identifying the winning team at the end of the day. They started with only 2 tee times and expanded to 8 tee times, occupying the whole afternoon. Additionally, they began alternating golf courses, from Brea Creek Golf Course to Mountain Meadows.
Eventually, there were some problems with the big events. It became too hard to manage, and many volunteers didn't live near Brea Creek Golf Course or Mountain Meadows. To fix this, Chloe and Catherine decided to change the format completely. Now, volunteers can golf anywhere and report their volunteer hours by simply golfing with a buddy. They also wanted to expand their impact beyond the golfing community to address global issues. "One day, we were sitting together, and something just came up: 'Can golf save the world?'" said Catherine. "We both laughed at that thought," after a while, they realized they could create fundraisers for hospitals and organizations in need. We are currently still building our teammembers but we can't wait to show you what happens next!
